Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at Days Inn. The two-room suite faced a courtyard not accessible by car, which was a bit inconvenient. The room was unfortunately dirty, with crumbs on the floor and hair in the bathtub. On the bright side, the hotel had a great location right off the freeway and close to downtown.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient for my visit to CWU, being right off I-90, but a bit far from downtown Ellensburg. The service had its moments, as some staff were friendly and accommodating, but others seemed unhelpful and inattentive at times. The rooms were less than stellar, with issues like grout mold and a constantly running toilet. The dining experience was average at best, with breakfast not meeting expectations.
From my first floor room, just up the stairs to the second floor and right by room # 231, I had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable overall, but the only thing that seemed newer than 20 years were the beds. The staff was very pleasant during check-in, but I did witness a concerning incident with another customer. The location, which also needs lots of rehabilitation, was not up to Red Lion expectations and had some issues with water and mildew smell. The dining experience was subpar with unappealing powdered eggs and greasy sausage. However, the hotel facilities were decent.
